FRANK F. LEE, D.O.
CORNEA EXTERNAL DISEASE & REFRACTIVE SURGERY
Dr. Lee is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cornea specialist and LASIK surgeon. He is dedicated to patient care and restoring sight through the latest techniques in corneal transplant surgery. Dr. Lee has had extensive experience managing complex corneal disorders and patients undergoing laser vision correction.
Dr. Lee has extensive training and experience with the latest technology and techniques for a wide variety of cataract and corrective vision procedures. He has been certified on the AMO Catalys femtosecond laser and the LENSAR laser for cataract surgery, as well as the Ziemer Femto LDV laser and the Bausch and Lomb Technolas 217z excimer laser for LASIK and PRK procedures.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, Dr. Lee went on to obtain a master’s degree in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He received his medical training at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued additional training through a pre-residency fellowship in ocular inflammation and uveitis at the Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution. Dr. Lee completed his residency in ophthalmology through Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV before receiving further training through a fellowship in cornea external disease and refractive surgery at the University of Rochester Flaum Eye Institute.
Dr. Lee has published several medical visual aids and papers during his career in order to contribute to the medical community of ophthalmology. He has also volunteered his time to the Lions Eye Foundation and the Unite for Sight nonprofit organization that encourages communities to improve eye health.
